Effective 1 November 2026
The short version. Bud keeps your notes and to-dos on your own device — no account, no cloud, no tracking. The only information we collect is the name and email you choose to give us on this site to request TestFlight access, and we use it only to send you an invite.
Everything you write in Bud is saved locally on your device (on a Mac, in your user Library's Application Support folder). Bud has no account system, sends nothing to a server, and includes no analytics, advertising, or tracking. We never see your notes or to-dos.
If you fill in the “Request TestFlight access” form, we collect the name and email address you enter, and the date of the request. We use them for one purpose: to contact you and send a TestFlight invitation to the beta. We don't sell this information or use it for advertising.
The site itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Our host keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) to operate the site and prevent abuse.
Beta testing runs through Apple's TestFlight. When we send you an invite, your email address is processed by Apple to deliver the build and, while you test, Apple may collect usage and crash data as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. Installing the beta is your choice.
We keep your request only as long as the beta is running, then delete it. You can ask us to remove your details at any time — email privacy@bud.supply and we'll delete them.
Bud isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
